UGREEN 100W/65W USB GaN Charger Review - Lightening Speed and Budget Friendly

UGREEN is known to be one of the best Asian brands for third-party accessories for laptops, smartphones, and other electronic devices. They are probably best known for their wireless earbuds, but their other accessories do perform well.

Their products go on sale occasionally online marketplaces, and their products go out of stock quite often as well.

This power bank is universally compatible and it is definitely compatible with iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XR, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xs, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPad Pro, iPad Air, Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy Note20, Samsung Galaxy Note10, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel 5, Google Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 4, Blu Studio X12, Blu Studio G91, Motorola Moto G100 G50, Xiaomi, Redmi Note 7, Nintendo Switch, and more.

I would recommend buyers to purchase from the official store, as the originality and post-sales services are much more guaranteed compared to third-party sellers.

Today, I would review UGREEN 100W and 65Watt GAN Charger.

UGREEN 100W USB GaN Charger USB Type C - UGREEN MALAYSIA

The variation sold by online marketplaces is the one with the UK Pin, which is compatible with the power supply in Malaysia.

The 100W GAN Charger has 4 ports. The first port is the 100W Type-C Port which delivers up to 100Watts of power. The second and third port is also USB Type-C, which delivers a maximum of 22.5Watts. The fourth port is a USB-A traditional charging port which also delivers up to 22.5Watts of power.

The sales copy claims that these ports are mostly compatible with all fast charging technologies. Unfortunately, the 100W charging power works only when one device is connected to the main Type-C port on the charger.

It is compatible with almost all laptops, tablets, and smartphones which support the USB Type-C port.

It supports Power Delivery(PD) 3.0 and can charge up to 4 devices simultaneously when all ports are used.

The cable which comes with it is pretty durable and has gone through many types of testing conditions.

UGREEN 65W USB C 4 Port GaN Charger

Other than the major heading which explains the difference in wattage i.e. 65 Watts vs 100 Watts, there is little difference between the two chargers other than the price point.

Similarities

i) 4 ports with different wattage

ii) Able to charge 4 devices at one time

iii) Compatible with various laptops, smartphones, and tablets

iv) Supports Power Delivery(PD) 3.0

Other than the wattage advertised, there seems to be little difference between the two charger models.
